Next, the Firebirds encounter the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A East Sky test, on Friday, December 13. Chaparral will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Pride come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 58-13 non-league loss to Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ).

The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their test against North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Rattlers come into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, North Canyon was routed by Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ), 61-40, in a league test.
