Next, the Mustangs face the LaPoynor Flyers (LaRue, TX) in a 2A Region III District 19 outing, on Tuesday, December 17. Martins Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 12-0 season record. The Flyers enter the outing with a 11-5 record after their 46-44 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX).
The Cougars (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Mexia (Mexia, TX). The Black Cats enter the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Mexia routed Riesel (Riesel, TX), 44-40, in a non-league outing.
