Virginia High School Basketball - Great Bridge thwarts Cox
December 12, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23322 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Cox Falcons (Virginia Beach, VA), observed Great Bridge's basketball team knock off Cox by a score of 45-37.
The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies come into the Southeastern challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Grassfield prevailed over Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA), 93-11, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach challenge, on Friday, December 13. Cox will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Stallions come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 95-28 league loss to Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA).
