In Thursday's non-league test, the Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) basketball squad trounced the host Exeter-Milligan/Friend Bobcats (Exeter, NE), by a final score of 68-27.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 13. Cross County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 45-35 non-league loss to Dorchester (Dorchester, NE).

The Bobcats (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE). The Irish come into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Sacred Heart bounced Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE), 38-33, in a non-league test.
