Oklahoma High School Basketball - Vinita holds off Dove Science Academy
December 12, 2024: Tulsa, OK 74112 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Vinita Hornets basketball team scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Dove Science Academy Raptors.
The Hornets (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Miami (Miami, OK). The Wardogs go into the Verdigris Valley contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Miami nipped Salina (Salina, OK), 52-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Raptors confront the Henryetta Knights (Henryetta, OK) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Dove Science Academy will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 47-40 non-league loss to Wewoka (Wewoka, OK).
