In Thursday's non-league test, the Wickenburg Wranglers (Wickenburg, AZ) basketball squad knocked off the host Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ), by a tally of 43-31.

The Wranglers now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Kingman Academy for a 2A West bout on Thursday, December 19.

With the loss, Highland Prep falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Honey badgers travel to Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, December 16. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Bourgade Catholic lost 53-21 in their recent non-league bout against Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ)
