December 12, 2024: Tunkhannock, PA 18657 Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA), 59-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Tunkhannock upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Tigers host Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to face the Royals in a Wyoming Valley 2 match on Wednesday, December 18. The Royals enter the match with a record of 5-1. Holy Redeemer lost 44-41 in their recent non-league match against Delone Catholic (McSherrystown, PA)
The Chiefs now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest City for a non-league match on Monday, December 16.
