Norton Bluejays (Norton, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE), 46-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Norton upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bluejays travel to Goodland (Goodland, KS) to face the Cowboys in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 1-0. Goodland won 56-21 in their recent league match against Cimarron (Cimarron, KS)

The Bison now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wray for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. McCook will face a Eagles squad coming off a 62-27 non-league loss to Merino (Merino, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
