The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart Gators (Bethesda, MD), 74-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, The Academy of the Holy Cross advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Tartans travel to Henrico (Richmond, VA) to face the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 3-0. Henrico won 86-23 in their recent non-league match against King George (King George, VA)

The Gators now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart will face a Crabbers squad coming off a 94-14 league win over Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Crabbers record now stands at 4-1.
