The Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 34-13 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Corsairs now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Saint Viator for a bout on Saturday, December 14. Carmel will play a Lions team coming off a 42-21 non-league win over Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Lions record now stands at 5-2.
