In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Bourbon County Colonels basketball team scored a close 51-50 win over the Bluegrass United Bluehawks.

The Colonels (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
