Illinois High School Basketball - Taft holds off Lincoln Park
December 12, 2024: Chicago, IL 60614 The Taft Eagles basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Lincoln Park Lions to 36 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Curie for a game on Tuesday, December 17. Taft will confront a Condors team coming off a 60-36 league win over Westinghouse (Chicago, IL). The Condors record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Lincoln Park falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lindblom (Chicago, IL) to confront the Eagles in a game on Tuesday, December 17. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 2-7. Lindblom won 52-36 in their recent non-league game against Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL)
