December 12, 2024: Carlsbad, CA 92009 La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting St. Augustine Saints (San Diego, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, La Costa Canyon advances its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to clash with the Foothillers in a non-league test on Saturday, December 14. The Foothillers come into the test with a record of 3-3. Grossmont lost 6-2 in their recent non-league test against San Diego (San Diego, CA)
The Saints now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carlsbad for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 17. St. Augustine will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 0-1.
