December 12, 2024: LaPlace, LA 70068 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the visiting Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA), saw St. Charles Catholic's soccer squad knock off Walker by a count of 4-1.
The Comets (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Glenmora by St. Frederick (Monroe, LA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats battle the Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 13. Walker will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA).
