Texas High School Basketball - Austwell-Tivoli bested by New Braunfels Thunder
December 12, 2025: Tivoli, TX 77990 New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool (New Braunfels, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Austwell-Tivoli Redfish (Tivoli, TX), 69-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, New Braunfels Thunder advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Homeschool host DaVinci (San Antonio, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, December 19. The Lions enter the match with a record of 15-3.
The Redfish now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bloomington for a non-league match on Saturday, December 13. Austwell-Tivoli will face a Bobcats/Lady Cats squad coming off a 81-43 non-league loss to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Bobcats/Lady Cats record now stands at 5-10.
