In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Barbers Hill Eagles basketball squad scored a tight 67-66 victory over the La Porte Bulldogs.

With the victory, Barbers Hill advances its record to 11-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Texas Lions Academy (Austin, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, December 13. The Lions enter the match with a record of 8-10. Texas Lions Academy won 65-60 in their recent non-league match against Berkner (Richardson, TX)
