Virginia High School Basketball - Episcopal toppled by Bishop Ireton
December 12, 2025: Alexandria, VA 22302 Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team thwart the host Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA), 58-50 in a non-league contest.
The Cardinals (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Potomac School topped Severn School (Severna Park, MD), 53-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Maroon battle the Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. Episcopal will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 67-61 non-league loss to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA).
