In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish basketball team scored a close 68-62 triumph over the Shawnee Wolves.

The Fighting Irish (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Heritage Hall (Oklahoma City, OK). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Heritage Hall got by Oklahoma Christian Academy (Edmond, OK), 78-60, in a non-league match.

The Wolves now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Will Rogers College for a non-league match on Friday, December 12.
