December 12, 2025: Blue Earth, MN 56013 Luverne Cardinals (Luverne, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Blue Earth Buccaneers (Blue Earth, MN), 62-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Luverne upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Windom (Windom, MN) to confront the Eagles in a AA Section 3 contest on Saturday, December 13. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 2-1.
In their next game, the Buccaneers confront the St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN) in a AA Section 2 contest, on Tuesday, December 16. Blue Earth will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Cyclones go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 70-29 non-league win over Martin County West (Sherburn, MN).
