In Friday's non-league test, the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) basketball squad trounced the host Varsity Opponent (, ), by a final score of 73-44.

Next, the Barons clash with the Takoma Academy Tigers (Takoma Park, MD) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 13. Blue Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 8-0 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 68-66 non-league loss to Landon (Bethesda, MD).

The (138-609) will now prepare for their test against KACHEA (Kingsport, TN). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, KACHEA was routed by Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC), 57-38, in a non-league test.
