Michigan High School Basketball - Renaissance toppled by Cass Tech
December 12, 2025: Detroit, MI 48201 Cass Tech Technicians (Detroit, MI) backers were thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team topple the visiting Renaissance Phoenix (Detroit, MI), 69-60 in a league game.
The Technicians now have a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sexton for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Cass Tech will confront a Big Reds team coming off a 84-60 league win over Portland (Portland, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Renaissance falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 1-1. East Kentwood lost 41-40 in their recent non-league outing against Fitzgerald (Warren, MI)
