The Cathedral Fighting Irish basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Valley Vikings to 46 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Irish now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Cathedral will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 44-37 non-league loss to Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Valley falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Ravens in a non-league test on Saturday, December 13.
