Texas High School Basketball - Hamshire-Fannett overwhelms Center
December 12, 2025: Center, TX 75935 The Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Center Roughriders to 28 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.
The Longhorns now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Nederland for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Hamshire-Fannett will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-60 non-league win over Orangefield (Orangefield, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Center moves to 0-5 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Longview (Longview, TX) to clash with the Lobos in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 16. The Lobos come into the test with a record of 11-2. Longview won 70-27 in their recent non-league test against Mineola (Mineola, TX)
