December 12, 2025: Chireno, TX 75937 The Chireno Owls basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Dayton Broncos to 62 in the Owls non-league triumph on Friday.
The Owls now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Timpson for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Chireno will confront a Bears team coming off a 57-48 non-league loss to Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX). The Bears record now stands at 4-8.
The Broncos (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lumberton (Lumberton, TX). The Raiders enter the non-league outing with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Lumberton nudged West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX), 64-36, in a non-league game.
