Texas High School Basketball - Dayton overwhelms Coldspring-Oakhurst
December 12, 2025: Coldspring, TX 77331 The Dayton Broncos basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans to 42 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Friday.
The Broncos now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lumberton for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Dayton will face a Raiders squad coming off a 64-36 non-league win over West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 2-8.
The Trojans (1-13) will now prepare for their outing against West Orange-Stark (Orange, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, West Orange-Stark routed Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX), 63-42, in a non-league outing.
