Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Curwensville nips Tussey Mountain

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Curwensville Golden Tide basketball team scored a close 30-26 win over the Tussey Mountain Titans.

The Golden Tide (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA). The Red Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Purchase Line was nudged by Marion Center (Marion Center, PA), 64-19, in a league match.

The Titans now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host McConnellsburg for a non-league match on Monday, December 15. Tussey Mountain will face a Spartans squad coming off a 57-18 non-league win over Northern Bedford County (Loysburg, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-0.
