New Mexico High School Basketball - Moriarty toppled by East Mountain
December 12, 2025: Moriarty, NM 87035 East Mountain Timberwolves (Sandia Park, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), 60-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, East Mountain upgrades its record to 5-0 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to Melrose (Melrose, NM) to face the Buffaloes in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 13. The Buffaloes go into the contest with a record of 5-0. Melrose won 64-21 in their recent non-league contest against Estancia (Estancia, NM)
In their next game, the Pintos confront the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 16. Moriarty will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Rockets go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 65-50 non-league loss to Belen (Belen, NM).
