New Mexico High School Basketball - Mesa Vista overwhelms Eunice
December 12, 2025: Eunice, NM 88231 The Mesa Vista Trojans basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Eunice Cardinals to 36 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now have a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Logan for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Mesa Vista will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 71-66 non-league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-0.
The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The Lions enter the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Santa Rosa routed Jal (Jal, NM), 60-30, in a non-league outing.
