New Mexico High School Basketball - Goddard overwhelmed by Las Cruces
December 12, 2025: Las Cruces, NM 88001 In Friday's non-league test, the Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM) basketball squad crushed the visiting Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), by a tally of 58-29.
The Bulldawgs now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. Las Cruces will play a Knights team coming off a 70-42 non-league win over Cathedral (El Paso, TX). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Goddard falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Belen (Belen, NM) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Belen won 67-33 in their recent non-league test against Valley (Albuquerque, NM)
