Texas High School Basketball - Goldthwaite can't hold off McGregor
December 12, 2025: Goldthwaite, TX 76844 McGregor Bulldogs (McGregor, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Goldthwaite Eagles (Goldthwaite, TX), 75-69 in a non-league match.
With the victory, McGregor advances its record to 4-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Huckabay (Stephenville, TX) to battle the Indians in a non-league contest on Saturday, December 13. The Indians go into the contest with a record of 15-2. Huckabay won 77-43 in their recent non-league contest against Clifton (Clifton, TX)
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Rio Vista Eagles (Rio Vista, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 16. Goldthwaite will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles go into the match with a 2-7 record after their 89-34 non-league loss to Little River Academy (Little River Academy, TX).
