December 12, 2025: Paint Rock, TX 76866 Highland Hornets (Roscoe, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their basketball team topple the host Paint Rock Indians (Paint Rock, TX), 47-31 in a non-league game.
The Hornets now have a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Robert Lee for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Highland will confront a Steers team coming off a 70-61 non-league loss to New Home (New Home, TX). The Steers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, Paint Rock falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Columbine (Littleton, CO) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Thursday, December 18. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 2-1. Columbine won 67-43 in their recent non-league outing against Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO)
