Illinois High School Basketball - Lockport crushes Lincoln-Way East
December 12, 2025: Frankfort, IL 60423 The Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) basketball crushed the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL), 66-38 in Friday's league bout.
The Porters now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a SouthWest Suburban bout on Friday, December 19. Lockport will play a Vikings team coming off a 70-37 league win over Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 8-0.
With the loss, Lincoln-Way East moves to 3-3 on the season. The Griffins host Brother Rice (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Sunday, December 14. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 5-2. Brother Rice lost 63-52 in their recent league test against Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL)
