The Soquel Knights basketball squad (Soquel, CA), was nudged 59-52 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA)

With the victory, Palma advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Chieftains host Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 13. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Dougherty Valley won 58-37 in their recent non-league match against Salinas (Salinas, CA)

The Knights now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitney for a non-league match on Saturday, December 13. Soquel will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 66-41 non-league win over Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
