In Friday's non-league contest, the host Plateau Valley Cowboys basketball team scored a big 67-40 triumph over the Sargent Farmers.

The Cowboys (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO). The Bruins go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Cedaredge was overwhelmed by Ridgway (Ridgway, CO), 66-55, in a non-league match.

The Farmers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mancos for a non-league match on Saturday, December 13. Sargent will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 76-30 non-league loss to Ignacio (Ignacio, CO). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-2.
