The Valley Patriots basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Sands Mustangs to 32 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.

The Patriots now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buena Vista for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 13. Valley will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 49-38 non-league win over Iraan (Iraan, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 7-1.

The Mustangs (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Smyer (Smyer, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Smyer was overwhelmed by Anton (Anton, TX), 57-29, in a non-league outing.
