In Friday's non-league test, the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) basketball squad defeated the visiting West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA), by a final score of 62-50.

Coming up next, the Rockets play the Northern Bedford County Panthers (Loysburg, PA) in a Inter County - East bout, on Monday, December 15. Southern Huntingdon County will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 57-18 non-league loss to McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA).

The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Bucktail (Farwell, PA). The Bucks come into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Bucktail went down by Montgomery (Montgomery, PA), 67-45, in a league test.
