Virginia High School Basketball - Chantilly can't get by Fairfax
December 12, 2025: Fairfax, VA 22030 Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA), 53-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Fairfax advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to battle the Bruins in a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 17. The Bruins come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 15. Chantilly will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Saxons come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 31-29 non-league win over West Springfield (Springfield, VA).
