Gayville-Volin Raiders (Gayville, SD) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD), 48-33 in a league match.

With the victory, Gayville-Volin advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Raiders travel to Wausa (Wausa, NE) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 2-2. Wausa lost 55-43 in their recent non-league match against Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE)
