The Althoff Catholic Crusaders walloped the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights basketball team by a tally of 53-16 in Friday's league game.

The Crusaders now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Belleville East for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Althoff Catholic will play a Lancers team coming off a 77-66 non-league win over Cardinal Ritter College Prep (St. Louis, MO). The Lancers record now stands at 8-0.

With the loss, Metro-East Lutheran falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL) to play the Griffins in a Gateway Metro game on Monday, December 15.
