Minnesota High School Basketball - Moorhead holds off Buffalo
December 12, 2025: Moorhead, MN 56560 The Moorhead Spuds basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Buffalo Bison to 68 in the Spuds league triumph on Friday.
The Spuds now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Minnetonka for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Moorhead will clash with a Skippers squad coming off a 73-54 league win over Chaska (Chaska, MN). The Skippers record now stands at 10-0.
The Bison (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Jefferson (Bloomington, MN). The Jaguars enter the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Jefferson was nipped by Kennedy (Bloomington, MN), 36-33, in a non-league outing.
