The Macon County Bulldogs basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Carver Tigers to 63 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a A D2 Region 6 game on Monday, December 15. Macon County will confront a Hawks team coming off a 62-39 league loss to Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Carver falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Columbus (Columbus, GA) to confront the Blue Devils in a AA Region 1 game on Tuesday, December 16. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 3-6. Columbus lost 78-32 in their recent non-league outing against Monroe (Albany, GA)
