Texas High School Basketball - Troy routs Coolidge
December 12, 2025: Coolidge, TX 76635 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Troy Trojans basketball team scored a big 54-28 triumph over the Coolidge Yellowjackets.
The Trojans (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Riesel (Riesel, TX). The Indians enter the non-league match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Riesel overwhelmed Wortham (Wortham, TX), 42-19, in a non-league match.
The Yellowjackets now have a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Neches for a 1A Region III District 24 contest on Tuesday, December 16. Coolidge will confront a Tigers team coming off a 58-30 non-league loss to Leon (Jewett, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-7.
