Indiana High School Basketball - DeKalb can't hold off Leo

December 12, 2025: Waterloo, IN 46793

The Leo Lions nipped the host DeKalb Barons basketball squad by a final score of 56-49 in Friday's league game.

The Lions now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Fort Wayne North Side for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 17. Leo will confront a Legends team coming off a 57-22 non-league loss to Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN). The Legends record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, DeKalb falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Barons host Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 4-6.
