In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting New Diana Eagles basketball team scored a close 56-53 triumph over the Fannindel Falcons.

With the victory, New Diana upgrades its record to 4-14 on the year. The Eagles travel to Milford (Milford, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 13. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 10-1. Milford won 69-48 in their recent non-league match against BigTyme Prep Academy (Rockwall, TX)

The Falcons now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sulphur Bluff for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. Fannindel will face a Bears squad coming off a 45-35 non-league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, TX). The Bears record now stands at 6-5.
