California High School Basketball - Gunn nips King's Academy
December 12, 2025: Sunnyvale, CA 94085 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA) and the host King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA), observed Gunn's basketball team edge King's Academy by a score of 45-38.
The Titans (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Scotts Valley edged Cupertino (Cupertino, CA), 49-26, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Knights meet the Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, December 13. King's Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Firebirds enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 39-23 non-league win over Prospect (Saratoga, CA).
