In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Manitou Springs Mustangs basketball team scored a big 53-23 triumph over the Middle Park Panthers.

The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Elizabeth was trounced by Alamosa (Alamosa, CO), 62-21, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Denver West Cowboys (Denver, CO) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 13. Middle Park will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Cowboys enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 58-33 non-league loss to Frontier Academy (Greeley, CO).
