Louisiana High School Soccer - Sulphur knocks off Ouachita Parish
December 12, 2025: Monroe, LA 71203 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) and the host Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA), saw Sulphur's soccer squad triumph over Ouachita Parish by a count of 5-0.
The Golden Tors (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Lions come into the match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Lafayette was overwhelmed by St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA), 4-0, in a non-league match.
The Lions now sport a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Frederick for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. Ouachita Parish will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league win over Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.
