December 12, 2025: Bernalillo, NM 87004 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), observed Rio Grande's basketball team overwhelm Bernalillo by a score of 49-21.
The Ravens (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Hope Christian was crushed by Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 56-41, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taos for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 16. Bernalillo will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 47-46 non-league win over Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.
