The Lake Weir Hurricanes basketball team scored 43 points and limited the visiting Dunnellon Tigers to 42 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Friday.

The Hurricanes now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Eustis for a non-league game on Monday, December 15. Lake Weir will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 25-24 non-league win over Mount Dora Christian Academy (Mount Dora, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
