In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Elko Indians basketball team scored a close 44-42 triumph over the South Tahoe Vikings.

The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Incline (Incline Village, NV). The Highlanders go into the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Incline was tipped by Churchill County (Fallon, NV), 60-11, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. South Tahoe will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record.
